I’m a scriptwriter, filmmaker and editor.
I have a BA in audiovisual studies from Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut, Lebanon. I also received my master’s degree in film directing from Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Barcelona, Spain.
I participated in various workshops: film-making and script-writing with both Home of Cine-jam and Cinephilia Screenwriting Lab, and Acting For the Camera with Jerry Coyle at FAMU International Prague.
Throughout my journey in film, I’ve created 5 short movies.
‘Skin’ one of my shorts that got the support of the ministry of culture in Lebanon and it was selected in 15+ international film festivals. My latest short film ‘Ordinary day’ from the Beirut 607 series was nominated in the 2021 International Emmy Awards. In 2018, I was also nominated among the 10 top video editors is the MENA region by BWR.
In my work, I am most inspired by the rawness of human emotions that I aim to translate cinematically on screen.
I’ve taken on projects from a wide range of industries: design, fashion, books, NGOs and music… anything that makes my heart dance.
I love films. I also have an unconditional love for the moon, people's faces and hot bread.
